Imagine waking up to the end of the world. Land full of radiation, lungs contracting to try and combat the poison in the air. That’s the image the song is creating. Some might think of it as a call to Armageddon, or maybe a look at the horrors of war from the viewpoint of a civilian, fire falling from the sky with no escape. The song is a first person account of the event, from realization of the event to complete loss of hope. Listen to this song and put yourself into the scene, it’s a powerful thing.
